Diana Weber
Owner and Operations Director
Diana holds a Bachelor of Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education and is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. After many years of teaching Kindergarten, Grade 1, and music, she followed her heart into early learning leadership.
Diana is passionate about creating a place where children feel free to explore, express themselves, and connect with nature, and where educators feel supported and inspired. At Whimsy, she blends her teaching background with her love for nature-based, Reggio-inspired learning to spark curiosity, creativity, and joy every day.
Her leadership is grounded in the belief that when children are nurtured with intention and wonder, they grow into confident, compassionate individuals ready to thrive in the world.

Michaela Bourbeau
Director of Education and Curriculum
Michaela is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator who brings curiosity, compassion, and creative spark to everything she does. She loves helping children discover their interests through play and works closely with our team to design meaningful, engaging experiences. Her positive energy makes her a much-loved mentor among staff.

Brandi Simonar
Cook and Educator Support
Brandi is a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator and the heart of our kitchen. She prepares fresh, healthy meals with care and creativity, making food that children actually love to eat. When she’s not cooking, Brandi is often found leading our onsite dance program, lending a hand in the classrooms, offering comfort, laughter, and support wherever it’s needed most.

The Nest Educator
Paula is a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator who brings warmth, fun, and a touch of excitement to the infant room. She’s wonderful at tuning into babies’ needs and adds playfulness and joy to the daily rhythm of care.

Lovepreet is a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator who offers consistent, comforting care to our littlest learners. Her calm, gentle approach helps babies feel safe and secure as they explore their world, build trust, and grow at their own pace.

Manjinder Kaur
The Grove Educator
Manjinder is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with a heart for toddlers and a calm presence that sets the tone in the room. She delights in watching children’s personalities shine and especially loves those magical “lightbulb moments” when a child learns something new. Manjinder is also a quiet, natural leader. She is organized, dependable, and someone both children and colleagues can count on.

Melissa Bauman- Drover
The Grove Educator
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Education and is a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator who has spent the past several years serving the Cold Lake community as a teacher. She brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and experience to her work with young children. Melissa is wonderful with the children, always up for a challenge, and passionate about creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences.

The Hollow Educator
Shiela is a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator who is highly attuned to the children in her care. She’s quick to notice and respond to changing needs, gently adapting the environment or routine to help toddlers feel calm and supported. Her warm presence and flexibility help children feel truly understood.

Jenn is a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator that exudes a calm, patient energy that helps the children feel safe and loved. She brings a wealth of knowledge about children of all ages and is very good at accommodating for each child's needs.

Jen is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator who cares deeply about the children and families she supports. She has so much knowledge on child development and is great at keeping the children productive and having fun.

Arsh is a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator with a calm presence, creative ideas, and a steady approach that brings confidence to both children and families. He’s known for leading engaging hands-on activities like giant bubbles, science experiments, and open-ended crafts that spark curiosity and teamwork. Arsh approaches his work with thoughtfulness and respect, creating a playful and well-balanced environment where children feel both supported and free to explore.

Christina is a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator whose presence brings warmth and joy to any room she enters. Children light up when she arrives, and she has a natural ability to make each child feel seen, valued, and included in the flow of the day.
